Writing comes naturally to N.C. Neal—it is a calling, a way to explore the depths of her being through the lens of her characters' stories. It’s a way of reflecting on life by exploring alternate realities where choices and actions lead to surprising and often life-changing outcomes. She’s driven by a deep curiosity about how characters are born, how they evolve, and what drives them to make the decisions they do.

 

Her passion for understanding herself and others led her to pursue a degree in psychology, followed by a master’s. These studies shaped her approach to creating characters that reflect the profound questions we all seek answers to: Who are we, and why?

 

N.C. Neal's personal journey also led her to the joy of motherhood, as she adopted two incredible daughters, a choice she confirms was the best of her life. When not writing, she enjoys sketching, musicals, and dreams of spending more time on the golf course.
